Welcome to the Bracknell Forest and Windsor & Maidenhead Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB).
Safeguarding Adults is a term applied to the inter-agency systems that work together to protect adults at risk from abuse, harm and/or exploitation. The role of the SAB is fundamental to ensure the health, wellbeing and safety of adults in our communities. Our website provides a wide range of useful information and resources for people who may experience or be at risk of experiencing abuse, their families and carers, as well as a dedicated area which provides access to a wide range of policy and practice guidance for professionals.
As of June 30th 2019 the Bracknell Forest and Windsor & Maidenhead Safeguarding Adults’ Board no longer exists as a joint Board; each area is making their own Board arrangements moving forward. Links will appear here to the new websites once they are in place. However, the content of this website is still current, and any forms / documents should still be used.
